# Mailstorm

> Email forwarding service for LATAM domain owners. Receive at any

Mailstorm is a domain-email-forwarding service positioned as the
LATAM-friendly alternative to ImprovMX and Forward Email. The product
loop is:

1. User adds a domain and Mailstorm gives them one MX record to publish
2. Mailstorm receives any mail sent to that domain at our SMTP server
   (mail1.mailstorm.dev, hosted in São Paulo)
3. Mailstorm relays the message to the customer's chosen real inbox,
   preserving the original DKIM signature (Resent-* headers per
   RFC 5322 §3.6.6) so DMARC passes at the destination

The Send / transactional-API product still exists in the codebase but is
dormant; the public pitch is forwarding-first.

## Pricing (canonical, last-updated 2026-05-07)

- **Free**: 1 domain, 3 forwarding addresses, no credit card.
- **Hobby**: USD 5/mo (or AR$7.000/mo). 5 domains, 50 addresses per
  domain, **catchall included**, multiple destinations per alias.
- **Pro**: USD 15/mo (or AR$21.000/mo). Unlimited domains, unlimited
  addresses, 90-day log retention, priority support.
- **Custom**: contact sales for SLA + custom terms.

FX policy: 1 USD ≈ 1400 ARS, no PPP discount, no FX surcharge. Direct
ARS billing via Mercado Pago for Argentine accounts (no foreign-purchase
surcharge, no withholding).

## Use cases

- **Freelance** (Free tier): designer or consultant wants `hola@`,
  `facturas@`, `soporte@` on their own domain forwarding to one Gmail.
- **Small business with 2-5 partners** (Hobby): each partner gets the
  mail meant for them on the company domain, no shared mailbox, no
  Workspace licenses.
- **Online store on a new brand domain** (Hobby): forward `ventas@`,
  `devoluciones@`, `mayoristas@` of the new shop into the existing
  corporate inboxes at `tuempresa.com` — no migration needed.
- **Holding / multi-brand company** (Pro): own 3-10 brand domains,
  forward all of them into one central corporate inbox. Avoid setting
  up Workspace on every brand.
